New WR Model! Aztec/Serrano

I am very proud to announce the latest guitar model, The Aztec/Serrano Concert Classical Guitar. This guitar was commissioned by JeHeel Cap with Sap Woodsus Serrano a very good friend of mine. Jesus Serrano is a guitar virtuoso from Mexico City and has won 1st place at many international guitar competitions. When Jesus approached me with the idea of a new guitar model, I became very eager to hear his ideas. This turned into a months-long enjoyable collaboration to design one of the best guitars I have ever built thus far.

Open Classical At Buon Giorno Coffee

If you like open-mic, I highly recommend the Open Classical at Buon Giorno Coffee in Fort Worth.  I was lucky enough to get some press by showing up with my latest guitar and giving it a 15 minute workout on stage!  StarTelegram2Yes I played and was later interviewed for the Star Telegram.  It is a great venue with some real talent giving their best vocals, guitar solos and more!

Cedar/Spruce Double Top w/Southeast Asian Rosewood Back & Sides

This double top model is the sister guitar to the spruce cedar double top I built a few months ago. The soundboard is constructed of cedar on top and spruce underneath. This is the first guitar I have built using Southeast Asian Rosewood for the back and sides, which has been said to rival Brazilian Rosewood in sound quality. I am happy to say this guitar has remarkable sound qualities and projection and yet it still maintains a traditional cedar top sound. This is a great guitar for even the most demanding musician who wants a concert guitar or is in need of a guitar for competitions. This sound is complimented by the details built into the body from the ebony bindings to the wheat motif specially made for this model. I used laminated sides, which give the guitar more focus, project the sound toward the audience, and give it a quick response for the player. She is a pleasure to play. Take a look at the photo gallery in the link provided below.
