Open Classical At Buon Giorno Coffee

If you like open-mic, I highly recommend the Open Classical at Buon Giorno Coffee in Fort Worth.  I was lucky enough to get some press by showing up with my latest guitar and giving it a 15 minute workout on stage!  StarTelegram2Yes I played and was later interviewed for the Star Telegram.  It is a great venue with some real talent giving their best vocals, guitar solos and more! Spruce/Cedar Double Top w/Cocobolo Back & Sides

I spent many months building this guitar, and as a result it has exceeded my goal in sound, beauty, and craftsmanship. This guitar is a pleasure to play, very loud and very responsive. The upper registers sing, and the guitar is quite even in each voice, with dark bases and clear trebles. Please come and try this guitar out for yourself!

About the wood: The back and sides are cocobolo. The grain of this particular set of cocobolo is quite amazing and rare. I have dubbed this the "wheat grain", given the fact that it looks like wheat motifs going along the grain. It is also a very dark set of cocobolo, aged for many years and stable. The spruce top gives off wonderful melodic rays in the grain. I used my rare method of constructing the inner rosette wood accompanied by my new wheat design on the outside of the rosette. This also matches the purfling along the top of the guitar. I have included my first ever Brazilian rosewood (old growth) bridge with a 12 hole tie block. The binding used on this guitar is African satinwood with a bird's eye figure. It looks like gold in the right light and is also very rare. The theme of the guitar works perfectly and it glows with the hand applied French polish. This is a concert guitar and worthy of any player looking for the dream guitar. Please look at the gallery photos!
