New WR Model! Aztec/Serrano

I am very proud to announce the latest guitar model, The Aztec/Serrano Concert Classical Guitar. This guitar was commissioned by JeHeel Cap with Sap Woodsus Serrano a very good friend of mine. Jesus Serrano is a guitar virtuoso from Mexico City and has won 1st place at many international guitar competitions. When Jesus approached me with the idea of a new guitar model, I became very eager to hear his ideas. This turned into a months-long enjoyable collaboration to design one of the best guitars I have ever built thus far.

Open Classical At Buon Giorno Coffee

If you like open-mic, I highly recommend the Open Classical at Buon Giorno Coffee in Fort Worth.  I was lucky enough to get some press by showing up with my latest guitar and giving it a 15 minute workout on stage!  StarTelegram2Yes I played and was later interviewed for the Star Telegram.  It is a great venue with some real talent giving their best vocals, guitar solos and more!

Spruce/Cedar Double Top w/Cocobolo Back & Sides

This spruce double top is my latest creation; I completed it just recently. My spruce double top guitars have become a popular item.  This is an instrument with a very well thought out design that gives sound quality the utmost importance while keeping playability in mind.    Just look at this instrument in the Gallery Photos and you will see the beauty and details of the gorgeous wood inlays.  When you play the guitar, you will hear the dark, rich, clear tones that are consistent with my double top design.

I build these guitars with the upmost respect to traditional sound but with the added benefits that my double tops give to the player.  Those benefits include an impressive sustain throughout the fingerboard.   In addition, I have perfected my tuning method, which allows me to achieve an accurate sound consistent in each guitar I build.  This guitar boasts some very nice features.  A 12 hole tie-block that mirrors the entry of the strings to the tuners on the headstock.  This tie-block design gives a more stable pull on the soundboard.  The Sloan tuners feature beautiful snake wood buttons, which compliment the cocobolo back and sides very well.  Both the nut and saddle are intonated perfection.  The fret board has a very slight radius, which makes barring much easier, as well as lets the left hand glide down the fret board with ease! The Brazilian Rosewood bridge and Brazilian Satinwood bindings are stunning.  Come witness this instrument for yourself, and look for me at one of the up and coming festivals in the area.  As always, you are welcome to stop by the shop and try this guitar as well!  Please contact me for more details and questions.
