Malaysian Black Wood Concert Classical Cedar/Cedar All Wood Double Top #2023-64

I am very excited to introduce to you a new model. My take on an all wood Double top.

I have been working on a completely new model and new design for my double top guitars.  In the past I have used a material called nomex sandwiched between the tops. I have loved the sound of these tops but have wanted to explore new sounds and what they can offer to the player and audience. This new design incorporates an all wood core combined with a redesigned bracing style. This unique design provides a very evenness in note to note separation all across the fret board plus wonderful sustain and projection that the player will enjoy.

New features also include a sound port with magnetic cover for the players enjoyment. As well as my first access port on the rear of the instrument that is also magnetic. This allows me to have easy access inside the guitar for sound adjustments when building and much easier access for possible future repairs if needed. This was also put in due to a new feature called a (Tornavor) that was placed in the sound hole. This colorful intricately decorated wooden tube enhances the bass response in the guitar providing a depth to the sound that is not often heard in a guitar.  A mosaic rosette with my new wheat motif design was inlayed that complements the guitar's theme. The guitar is a 640 scale with a traditionally flat fret board. The player will find the left hand easy to play and is set up with a comfortable action. I am very happy with this guitar, the sound is incredible and addicting to play. This guitar will be headed to the Guitar Foundation of America Convention in New York on June 21st. If you will be around please stop by my booth and try it. This guitar is a one of a kind find, and is the next evolution to my double tops.
